bluuuuue, how about a LCB freeroll at Stars this weekend , letsay 100$ pool? :)

Sounds easy but it takes a bit of planning to set one up.  It is time we had a private freeroll though.  I'm working on it.

But not at PokerStars, then us poor US folks couldn't play!  8'|

Absolutely not Katt.  It will definitely be a USA site.  (I took it to mean Feltstars)

It won't be there though Katt.  I'll let you know as soon as I've set something up.  It will probably be Adameve Poker because it will be the quickest to set up.

I will start the ball rolling next week when I have some spare cash!

As you may have gathered, I didn't have spare cash.

Anyone played any freerolls recently?  What position did you achieve?

I just played one and I was doing really well but then I had to go out and ended up having to throw the game.  Grrrr....

I have not actually won any freerolls lately, but I have cashed. Won $6+ in Carbon's $10k monthly freeroll yesterday.

Speaking of which, disappointingly Merge has dropped all of it's daily freerolls down from $200 to $50. Until now they had been my favorite freerolls to play, especially the HORSE tourny.

The lame thing is that the $200 payout was not even really $200. Forth to first place finishers won a few dollars, but all the rest only received tournament tickets. To cut those type of payments is just lame IMO.

No - no points or anything like that.

That's a bit of a joke surely.  If the majority of the payouts were tickets and the rest were just a few cents, what is the point in dropping the value of the freerolls down to $50.

It's just tight.

I just noticed on FS that they changed from $200 freerolls to $50 freerolls but now the top spots are all cash...no tickets. The winner gets $13.50 and then the prize amount go down to 30th place.

Same as Carbon Poker then.  Must be a Merge-wide thing do you think?

Do you think you are better off with the cash than with the tickets to another freeroll Rosebud?

I don't know about rosebud, but I prefer the cash over a ticket. I would rather be able to choose my own game(s) which would not work with a ticket. Not to say if a ticket is the only option I wouldn't want to win it!

I'd go with the  $$ $$ too but I guess the game should be for more then the $50.

When you have have as many as 5000 playing,it can be a long game for such a small amount.

I'm inclined to agree on wanting the dollars over a ticket but 5,000 into $50 doesn't really go (well it does - its 0.01).  That is definitely hard work.
