It depends on the cash level you are playing at (in my opinion). Higher stakes 6 seater and lower stakes 9 seater. I figure that with 6 seats you only have to beat 5 people but with 9 seats you have to be 8 people.
What about you David? 6 or 9?

I prefer the 6 table if playing smaller stakes tables as you have less"Captain Ahabs"(Fishers) to get through

I haven't really delved into 6 seat games much... so 9 seats is my current choice.

Last week (see previous post) I had not played 6 seat much at all... so, this last week I have been trying 6 seat games a lot. Now I would say that in most circumstances I prefer the 6 seat table. Definitely less people to deal with, less all-in mania at the tables, less time in most games overall. Some of the ones with 9 players can just go on and on very slowly. katt

Good to hear you are playing these 6 seaters Katt and that you are enjoying them. Whatever you do though, don't forget to play a 9 seater now and then as it's a totally different ball game as you have probably realised.

Katt,so glad you have tried out the 6 seater.I like them too and they are a totally different game. You have come such along way in such a short time. i think I need to take my playing more seriously.I sometimes play just because I'm bored...I need to stop doing that, otherwise how will I ever make it to the WSOP.

Blue, I do go back and forth and throw in a multi-table about once a day also. What I have not done is go straight into a HU game. I get to HU in the other games, but for some reason I shy away from the HU... perhaps because I would have no play time to learn the opponent before hand and I truly am shy and 1 on 1 seems kinda up close and personal... need someone to kick my butt and shove me in that direction I guess. Rosebud, I do the bored thing with poker sometimes too... don't do well when I am just not into it... need that psych up to win! And you better get serious about your poker girl! Else how will we go to WSOP together... be nice to have a friend at that final table! katt

Cool deal blue! Do you have an account at Bovada ( Bodog)... it is easier for me to put money to play in there... I have some money from the game the other day at AdamEve too... or we can play somewhere with play money... or? Let me know! katt

Happy to play a play money game wherever is convenient for you Katt. Might be better with play money on reflection. I want to watch It would do me some good I'm sure. That would be cool Rosebud. Ready when you are Katt. Just name the place. blue
