Latest Poker Bonuses

Hi All,

We need a team of at least 10 players to represent the LCB/LPB/LBB/LSB family in a battle of the forums tournament held at Bwin (http://www.latestpokerbonuses.com/url/78/Bwin%20Poker)  8) (US players not allowed)

The buy-in is $5+1 and the prize pool is $60,000 as well as bragging rights of course   ;)

The first players (up to 20) to post their interest in this thread and subsequently register will receive $5 free via Paypal, Neteller or Moneybookers

In order to register you must:

• Sign up to Bwin through our link here (http://www.latestpokerbonuses.com/url/78/Bwin%20Poker)
• Post in this thread that you're interested in playing
• When the tournament is listed, I will send a PM to all players containing our password for entry
• Select the forums tourney from the lobby
• Kick butt  :D

There are essentially two phases in this BOTF tournament.  

The first is the qualifying round which takes place at 21:00 (GMT +1) on 06.12.2009

The best 5 of our team will then move on to the final round which takes place at 21:00 (GMT +1) on 13.12.2009

In this final round, each of our final 5 members will play in different tournaments (there will be 5 tournaments running simultaneously).  Points are then distributed according to each player's performance based on the following table:

The team with the most points collectively from all 5 players will win $21,000 split equally amongst the 5 players.

so how many boards are taking part and how the prize money of 60k comes together?

Simple math: every board has to have at least 10 players, which is 60$/board. That would mean 1000 different boards will play? One thought more: it would not make sence for a board to come with more than 10 players as they together would pay more then 60$ which is actually the buy on for the grand finale. So if you come with 100 players you will still have only 5 participans in the final tourney.

So let me know, I am thinking about taking part.

Heya Alex,

I've been given no indication of how many other forums are taken part in it but it is possible for a forum to have multiple teams.  For every 50 players a board brings, they're allowed to have 5 of them in the final tournament.

I see what you're saying though in that the most efficient way for people to win is to have only 10 entrants from one board which would mean there would be at least 1000 boards but I highly doubt this is the case. 

Come join in anyway, we need to represent LCB pride  :D

As i read in another forum where i play league the registration for the forums was
already closed at least 3 days ago.

As I see we have difficulties, so why not, if possible, open a threat in the No deposit casinos forum to get players who do not lose their way to the poker forum  ;D

Well I have now registered and that makes 2 of us.  So I'm inclined to agree with Henni.  Everyone who is going to play should register now and then we can know how many palyers we have.

I just figured out that not only a ticket to final can be won, you also can
win a share of buy-in

Well if only 5 of us enter, then we are all through to the final - thats how I read it.

And the prizes are pretty awesome too:

So there are 5 games running simultaneously and each qualifier (5) will play in one of these games.  If we each won our game we would have $21000 to share between 5.  Thats a very nice prize indeed.

sorry blue but i think there is something wrong :

We need at least 10 players to take part in the qualifier
Say we got 10 so we start playing to find out the first 5 to represent the
forum in the final. The buy-in of the 10 players which means 50$ ( 5$ for the casino )
will be put in to the pricepool of the qualifier and then shared between say place 1-4.
Now the top 5 of our forum play the final for the 60K

It wasn't due to my work and I didn't pull a Soda.  If I had pulled a "Soda" I would be kicking my own butt right now but it was out of my hands  :'( :'( :'(

I just could not connect with the mobile broadband that I had.    :(  I even sent my son my login and password to see if he could play it for me but he was too busy munching on a chinese meal.

FOR SURE NEXT TIME! Especially now that I know the cards favour the big stack at BWIN. 9 8 offsuit calling my all-in and flopping a 9 and then an 8 on the turn to take down my pocket 10s. And I even put out a big raise preflop!!! That's what erked me. He called me with those cards pre-flop and of course called my all-in as 9s were the highest pair shown to him. >:(
