Blue you have done it again with this blog subject... I have never thought about it at all. I usually just have something on the TV in the background to look at if the play gets slow or I am getting no cards to play a hand with...

But as I read this, I started thinking about how much I enjoy having music when I play slots at 3Dice... I have every kind of music available on my TV and my computer and am going to try playing it when I play my next game of poker. I hope to eventually put together a selection of music that is best for me while playing.

ok blue, here is where I should say that I like BOTH kinds of music... Country AND Western! But that is just for fun! I really have an eclectic taste in music... I like almost all of it... except perhaps opera...

If I had to choose which is my favorite type I would have to say since I am a psychedelic relic it is classic rock from the 60's and 70's. But, I am thinking some of that might not have the right poker effect!

MIght just do better with Celtic music which I find very soothing. But a mix of different genres will probably be what I work out...

Ahhhh Opera.  I do like a few songs which my Mother loved but now they just make me cry.  So here is one The Pearl Fishers.  It's an incredible piece.  The other ones my Mum loved were The Nun's Chorus and the Hebrew slaves chorus.  I can still see her flitting around the living room singing and mouthing the words.  Hope you enjoy them Katt.

I just wrote a long reply and somehow closed the window when I went to save it so I will try to repeat it...

I said, "Blue, you have given me a new perspective on opera with these selections. I can't deny the incredible beauty of each piece. I think my problem with opera is that I don't understand the words. So, as I listened to each selection the second time, I looked up the lyrics translated into English and this helped a lot. I could understand the emotions behind the music. Thanks blue."

Then I said, "As far as the blog regarding the WSOP, meet me in Las Vegas! I would love to see this tournament live and in person."

  I have a plan for this blue! I too have ESPN. So, all we need is a Skype connection, a webcam aimed at my and rosebud's TV screens, and your eyes on your computer! Then if one of us gets tired or has to go somewhere you can switch to the other one's stream! Whaddya think guys?!
