Races

Races are a natural component of poker. And just like in running, you need very different skills depending on what kind of tournament you play. Are you a hit-and-runner or a long-grind specialist?

Bwin are adding a total of $3,000 on top of six different tournaments.

In addition to prize money, the top three in each race will also earn Picnic Points that count towards the overall Poker Picnic Games Leaderboard. 5 for first, 3 for second, 1 point for third place.

Musical chairs

Just like in musical chairs, you have to strike like a viper when the opportunity arises in poker. You have to be ruthless. To reward those who can, they're going to add $500 to a $5.50 Musical chairs tournament on 28.07.2012 at 20:00 (GMT +2). The $500 will be split amongst the three players in the tournament who eliminate the most players. Results will be published in the bwin Pokerblog on the Monday after the tournament is concluded.

Most elimination Payouts

Place    Payouts
1st              $250
2nd             $150
3rd             $100

In addition to prize money, the top three will also earn Picnic Points that will count towards the overall Poker Picnic Games Leaderboard. 5 for first, 3 for second, 1 point for third.

Tug of war

Just like in a real tug of war, poker is about finding the strength and the will to push back when someone puts you on the spot. That's how cash game pots grow. If you're one of those who manage to be the victorious raiser and reel in a big one, you may qualify for some extra cash.

The winners of the top three biggest pots (measured in big blinds) in cash games during the promotional period from 27th July to 12th August 2012 will share $500. In case of equal sizes payouts will be combined and divided evenly.

Biggest pot payouts

Place    Payouts
1st             $250
2nd             $150
3rd             $100

In addition to prize money, the top three will also earn Picnic Points that count will towards the overall Poker Picnic Games Leaderboard. 5 for first, 3 for second, 1 point for third.

Pin the tail

Don't worry. There will be no blindfolds or spinning before playing like in pin the tail. Instead, Bwin are challenging you to display pinpoint accuracy by finishing in a very specific position in a tournament. Relatively easy except for the fact that everyone else will be trying to do the same thing.

The tournament called Donkey tournament is a $11 No Limit Hold'em tournament played out on 31st July.2012.

Pin the tail payouts

Finish in 10th position    $250
Finish in 20th position    $150
Finish in 30th position    $100

In addition to prize money, the top three will also earn Picnic Points that will count towards the overall Poker Picnic Games Leaderboard. 5 for first, 3 for second, 1 point for third.
