Heads Up Showdown at Full Tilt

On Sunday, September 14th, two of the most exciting players in poker – Gus Hansen and Viktor “Isildur1” Blom – will face off in a best-of-three battle for supremacy, $50,000 and to avoid a forfeit at Full Tilt Poker.

Qualify and play your part in the showdown by choosing your favorite and entering the $10K Gus Supporters Freeroll or the $10K Viktor Supporters Freeroll. If he emerges victorious you can be the real winner, with automatic entry to the $30,000 Heads Up Showdown Flip Freeroll.

To play for your share of $10,000, deposit at least $20 and earn 50 Full Tilt Points or more between Thursday, August 28th and 23:59 ET on Sunday, September 7th. Once you’ve deposited, you can track your progression towards 50 Full Tilt Points via your My Promotions page on the desktop software or on the Full Tilt Poker app.

When you qualify you’ll be credited with a freeroll ticket by 23:59 ET on Wednesday, September 10th. Choose the player you think will win the Heads Up Showdown by using your ticket to register for either the $10K Gus Supporters Freeroll or the $10K Viktor Supporters Freeroll, which both take place at 14:15 ET on Saturday, September 13th.

On Sunday, September 14th at 14:15 ET, Gus Hansen and Viktor Blom will battle it out in the Heads Up Showdown matches, with the winner capturing $50,000 and nominating one of two forfeits for the loser to perform:

    Record and release a video of themselves singing the winner’s national anthem

    Play 1,000 hands of micro stakes ($0.05/$0.10) Razz

The players will play Stud 8 (Gus’s choice), No Limit 2-7 Triple Draw (Viktor’s choice) and a third game chosen by a public vote which will be revealed on Monday, September 8th.
