How do you play JJ starting hand?

I often wonder how other poker players play JJ pocket pair.

So many times I raise with them and lose.  My son calls them "honourary 10s"

So the question is: How do you play JJ pre flop and through to the river?

Hi Blue,

Fish Hooks can really reel you in. Its a tough pocket pair to be dealt. I usually play them rather conservatively. If someone raises before the flop or goes all in...i will meet the bet all the way.

I also think it depends on the players at the table...if it is a tight table i will raise it. I'd rather have the table fold then to lose with them.

I play pocket jacks as if they were pocket aces, if your at all timid with them you'll probably lose.  being agressive is your best bet. of course it dosen't always work but even pocket aces fall sometimes.

best thing about poker is your opponents never really know what your holding.
