....if you won almost $150,000 in a poker tourney and went off to the $5,000 sitngo tables and then lost all except $8000 of your huge $150k win?

I would be seriously fed up for sure but that is exactly what 17AXA, a Russian PokerStars player did.

Would you ever let a big poker win go to your head?

If I did something like this I would probably want to take a LONG walk off a very SHORT pier!

I don't think I would ever do it though. I would of course play some and probably at a higher average than I usually do, but the rest would be saved, stashed, and used wisely. I can sit on a withdrawal now without reversing it, so I am pretty sure even with a bit of a big head and the lure of easy-come, easy-go I would be ok!

Ah...the art of not reversing a cashout is a hard one to learn (I think I should say "Grasshopper" here Laugh out Loud).  That's great to hear Katt.

I certainly would be withdrawing the bulk of it and I'd leave a little bit in to play with.  With that kind of money, I would prob leave $1,000 in. That would be enough for me to "tinker" with.
