Hi,

i have been playing poker 1 year or so..
but still being very result oriented, especially after live games.

recently, have been losing alot in live..
however, also did reviews on major hands that lost.. think i played well
(i.e. putting in money ahead on the flop, calling shoves w/ draws + pot odds)

what are the methods/factors that you guys use to justify whether you played good poker in a session despite losing?

Need some help feeling better thanks...

Hi Henry,  When you are playing live tourneys, is it with family/friends or players that don't know how to play poker?  Generally family don't have the knowledge that you might have and keep any hand regardless of how bad it is.  If they have no knowledge then they don't know any better and they will get lucky.

I don't think the above will make you feel better though.
