Looking for a deal
« on: February 22, 2012, 07:36:44 AM »
If it's allowed to make a deal here then:
I need 45$  8)
to start playing 15$ buy-ins fifty-fifty games at Pokerstars. I will play 20 of these games a day for 5-6 days a week and it' will take me a quite a lot of time, like a full time job. I will finish 70% in the top 5.
I will pay you back 30$ each week for 4 weeks = 120$ - your profit is 75$, just for letting your money sit on my poker account.
There is a 5% chance that I can end up loosing your money, but that is the risk you have to take.

Any1 interested or not ?  :-bd

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH     what you need to do is go get a job so you can have your own $45.  This is not a beggars forum.

This is not really the place to ask such requests of other members Just1million.  It is tantamount to begging and is not tolerated on this forum.

I would do as dabigdog has suggested - earn the money and use your own.

As both blue and dabigdog said, this is not a place to beg, even if you are offering a possible profit... My question is this... If you are that good at poker, why do you not have any money of your own to play?

how is it begging, im looking for a sponsor, don't look at that way. many pokerforums have a section for these kinds of stakes/deals, I'm just asking - there's nothing wrong with that.
Begging is lot different.

It's like a same kind of offer than the free bankrolls on the net.

Nowhere in your first post did you mention the word "sponsor"!

Thanks for the clarification.

How long have you been playing?

I was on a break with poker, I have 3 years experience with this game and now I'm starting again, just thinking about the best solution to get my game going, I'm a bit rusty due to a nearly 1,5 year break because I was in the military. I basically do have the 45$ to put in there, but I'm just grinding low tables to maximize my profits, did deposit 10$ yesterday and I'm on 29$ at the moment, still that doesn't fulfill my needs to start grinding the fifty fifty 15$ buy in, since 45$ isn't enough so I'm financing this deal with 50% of my own money.

I adjusted your post as the paragraph appeared in the middle of the quoted text.

Have you tried the all the free bankrolls?

kinda sad, how I'm being disrespected here. Also please be so kind to GTFO my thread troll. You got no idea what you are talking about and yet you think you are right, I eat people that don't know s*** about what they are talking about for lunch, if you want a flame war, then bring it on.

Just1million,this is a public forum and when you post you do expect replies right? Somtimes you will not get the replies you like.

Your request is really not much different than being at a land based casino and losing your money or having none to begin with and asking total strangers to give you money to play with.Would you give away your money or "sponsor" someone that you didn't know??

Well, I am on YOUR thread too and I am also sticking with my first question... if you are that good, why don't you have a bankroll of your own? I am a beginner at poker and just the other day I played a Freeroll and won $3.30. Before I called it a day I was up to $70... For a guy with a 95% win rate that should be child's play...

jeez, guys n gals why so much hate.

dear katt, its a 70% win rate, what i mentioned before, but everyone has a chance to go TILT and also nothing in this life is 100%.
my calculations are based on this -
20 games = 300$ buy in fee.
20 to double up on = ~600 depending on the chip stack also, might do a little lower or a little better.
70% of the 600 = 420$
420$ - 300$ = 120$ which is the daily profit, now that may vary between 80-160, because the chip stack counts. So in my calculations minimum I can make a day is 80$.

And the answer to your repeated question is posted as a reply to blue already, pls scroll up :)

Just1Million, I don't hate you... but it is a wonder to me that you need a sponsor for $45...

My repeated question as to why you don't have a bankroll of your own still stands. From what you have asked for, $45, and your own investment of $45, all you need is $90 and you say you can make $80 in a day... and I made $70 from $0 in a day (actually about 3 or 4 hours) so, why can't you do the same?

And my figure of a 95% win rate is based on your first post in which you said the person who gave you the money had a 5% chance of you losing their money...
