Mixed Poker

Often, you will see "Mixed Poker" games.  Some of the abbreviations you will see are:

    H.O.R.S.E.
    H.A.
    H.A.R.
    H.O.
    H.O.S.E.
    R.A.S.H.
    S.H.O.E.

But what do they all mean?  The letters for these mixed games are made up from the following:

H: Texas Hold'em
O: Omaha Eights or better (Omaha Hi/Lo
R: Razz
S: Seven card Stud
E: Seven card stud Eight or better
A: Omaha Hi

The games are played in the order of the initials for example H.O.S.E. is played in the order:

H: Texas Hold'em
O: Omaha Eights or better (Omaha Hi/Lo_
S: Seven card Stud
E: Seven card stud Eight or better

You should see (somewhere on the table or at the top of your screen) the current game being played.

I have played some mixed poker games and it makes for a really interesting game but you have to keep your wits about you.

I hear ya Katt.

I think I played one of those by accident (and managed a cashout too) and one intentionally.

They are good fun and definitely keep you on your toes.

I think games like this are hard and I did feel a bit like a fish out of water (if you'll pardon the pun ).
