Definitely single table until you are confident in the game allena.  Personally I prefer a couple or 3 tables at a time.  Keeps me interested!

allena I have been playing for a couple of months now and I have tried 2 tables at once a couple of times. I was overwhelmed trying to keep things straight with the two. I would say single tables would be best while learning. I know that is what I have adopted for my own play until I am better at this. Good Luck

The best answer to your question is....

Play as many tables as you can continuously make a profit playing.

If you continuously profit from 1 table then try playing at 2. If that works then attempt a 3rd table. If you see that you were able to retain a higher % of profit with 2 tables then that is the number of tables you should play. Otherwise keep adding another table.

I've seen pro players report of playing up to 11 tables at once. That just sounds ridiculous to me. My personal max is 4-5 tables and that has to be a very good day for me. Along with my turn to act on each table popping up at just the rite time so they are not all popping to front at the same time.
