Hiya Poker Playas,

I have had played my fair share of multiple tables at one time and i have seen so many pros do it too.

The problem for me to do that is am not able to read my opponents and know what kind of player they are.

I think it can really hurt your game and have decided against it. I am thinking the Pros are better at it maybe because they know who they are playing against and have their style down pat.

How do you feel about this?

As a newbie I can't read other players or myself  Laugh out Loud. Playing multiple tables at once would make that even more difficult. I wouldn't be able to focus and make good decisions. I envy those that can but one is enough for me.

As a newbie froggy i wouldn't advise it. You need to get yourself comfortable with the game and confident in yourself first. You will get there!

I've done it and still do from time to time but I have hit the wrong key...all-in,fold etc because of it and kicked myself in the butt for it!!LOL It is also too hard for me to concentrate when I'm playing multi tables and not checking out the other players as in reading them.I think I'm better off just playing one game at a time even tho I can screw that up too...gggrrrrrrr!! I play up to max 5 windows. I will do this for sng's and won't open another window until i get to know the table players and jot down notes on them. Takes practice and going down to one table now is too slow paced for me.

I've done a matrix on FT (4 tables - same people) and two x single tables.  It is hard but I don't play too many hands anyway, so I don't see it as a problem for me.  I wouldn't play any more than 6 though.  Unlike that guy that was trying to get the 65 millionth hand on pokerstars.  He had 24 tables open and he got lucky and won the big prize.  That must have been hard.
