Sky Poker (no USA) is celebrating UK poker with 'Play the Nation'. The promotion is free to enter and runs throughout February.

The first part - you can receive a special £5 PTN bonus in addition to regular bonuses throughout February.

These bonuses are brought to you through the Cash for Points scheme which you will automatically be opted into once you've joined Play the Nation (enter promo code 'PLAY'). If you are already taking part in the Cash for Points scheme, you will also receive the special £5 PTN bonus (you also need to enter promo code 'PLAY'). In order to qualify for this bonus you simply need to hit 500 Poker Points in February.

Secondly, they are giving you a chance to double all the bonuses you earn. Over the month of February they'll keep track of each regions success on the Cash Tables, in Sit and Gos and in Tournaments. Players from the 3 top regions at the end of the month will get their bonuses for the month boosted.

    1st - 100% Cash for Points boost
    2nd - 50% Cash for Points boost
    3rd - 25% Cash for Points boost.

Example: Joe from Cardiff earns £15 from Cash for Points and Wales wins Play the Nation. Joe would win £35 - £15 Cash for Points + £15 from the PTN Regional Boost + £5 for earning at least 500 Poker Points during February.

Cash for Points Scheme basic info

You can now get cash for EVERY point you earn (over 500 points) in each calendar month. The bonus you earn is based on the amount of Poker Points you earn throughout the month.

    Earn an unlimited cash bonus
    Join the Priority Club when you earn over 10,000 points
    Get your cash bonus on the 5th business day of the month

    Earn extra points simply by playing in a Main Event at 8pm every night
    Plus, look out for the brand new Happy Hours, where they award bonus poker points on cash tables!

January's Cash for Points bonus will be paid on Tuesday 7th February before 6pm.

Please note that they no longer offer free entry into the £1,000 GTD tournament when you earn between 250-499 points.

The "pence per point" is the muliplyer.  So for example if you earned 4,900 points in one month, you would receive £78.40 on the 5th of the following month (4,900 x 1.6p)
