This is for new poker players...hand rankings from lowest to highest


High Card (No pair, i.e. Ace high)

Pair

2 pairs

3 of a kind (or more commonly known as "trips")

Straight (5 consecutive cards i.e. 7, 8, 9, 10, J)

Flush (any 5 cards of the same suit)

Full House (3 of a kind and 2 of a kind i.e. KKKJJ)

Four of a kind (If 4 of a kind is on the table, Ace counts to win)

Straight Flush (i.e. 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 all of the same suit)

Royal Flush (10, J, Q, K, A all of the same suit)
