holdem / omaha / omaha hi lo / other games
tourney / ring / sitngo

Hi Karter, I found the best way for me to learn was to play in fun mode. Diving right in the action and watching other players and their style is helpful. Every poker player has their own style and you will soon develop it through lots of practice. Freerolls are also a great way to get your feet wet. Good luck and let us know your progress! Lips |

It depends on the game and the type of player you are (more or less aggressive) but for me one of the most important things is keeping your head cool even when you are surrounded by assholes, I tend to lose my patience too easily and that is bad.

You hit the nail on the head there lua! I am just beginning to play and already I can see the irritation making me lose it when there is a real horse's patoot at the table!
I am too new to know what to write in the notes about a player, but tonight I had to write "Bully with a Bankroll" on one player's notes... thanks
