Do a search for howard lederers preflop strategy guide. You wont make millions, but its almost a guaranteed way to win a little while learning the game.

Dont play poker for money until you start to beat your friends . It will give you practice.

The best way to learn is to have a friend who already plays well and watch his play, another thing is reading books and articles and practice.

Not! at first you must understand that poker online is not like the real poker, it is of different kind, i advise you to start play little limits like 0.10/0.20 and then you must proceed as you gain more experience and learn more of the game. When you see that you are easy to go with currently stakes, take a bit higher, thats how it works in inet)
