    Anyone hear the information that Baazov is acquiring Pokerstars? Sounds like Amaya is being purchased and being taken private. For some reason, I always believed Pokerstars would need a different owner before all U.S. players would be allowed to play on Pokerstars. This may be the news that U.S. players were hoping for in the final push to get poker back to the big time.

    Hmmm - it seems to be on a couple of sites at the moment although if he does acquire it, it will be a good thing. 

     

    It seems David Baazov,  CEO of Amaya, has made the proposal to Amaya to purchase shares at 40% markup.  No info has been made available yet as to Amaya's response.
