Membership is available on an opt-in basis: having taken up your membership, your Billionaire Club status will last for the remainder of that calendar month and the following three months. To maintain your membership after that time players must redeem or purchase a further one billion chips.

How to join the Billionaire Club
If you have a balance in excess of one billion chips then you can buy your entry by registering for the Billionaire Club dummy tournament in the PokerStars lobby. Simply go to the ‘Tourney’ > ‘Freeroll’ tab and use the filter to find ‘Billionaire Club Members’. Once you have redeemed your one billion chip entry fee, your membership will commence.
If you have purchased one billion or more chips in the preceding three months then you will be contacted at the start of each month with an invitation to join. You will be credited with a tournament ticket that will allow you to register for the ‘Billionaire Club Members’ dummy tournament.
