For the first 2.5 hours of Tourney Number One Billion, they’ll award players at randomly chosen tables a share of $200,000 in prizes. Prizes being awarded will be announced via messaging at the tables, without the need to pause the tournament, and will be paid out instantly to winners’ accounts. Winning players will also receive an email confirming any prize won.

Tourney Number One Billion starts at 13:00 ET and the first prizes will be awarded at 13:10 ET, so make sure you register early!

How to play Tourney Number One Billion

The $2M guaranteed tourney takes place on Sunday, November 30 at 13:00 ET and you can buy-in directly for $109. Alternatively, win your seat in round-the-clock qualifiers from November 13, with satellites starting from just $1. Satellites and Tourney Number One Billion can be found in the PokerStars 6 client under ‘Tourney’ > ‘Special’, and can be found in both PokerStars 6 and PokerStars 7 software by searching for ‘Billion’ in the Tourney Filter.

$500,000 Milestone Golden Sit & Go Giveaway starting on November 17!

Sit & Go players, get ready to boost your bankrolls from 10:00 ET, November 17, because PokerStars is lining the tables with $500,000 in gold! It’s just one of the many ways we’re celebrating The Billionth Tournament Carnival, and best of all, you can win just by playing your favorite real money Sit & Go’s.

Golden Sit & Go’s will be selected at random, and will receive either a Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3 prize:

    TIER 1: You win your Sit & Go buy-in back, and will therefore be ‘freerolling’ in the tourney. The total prize pool will also be doubled

    TIER 2: You win 2x your Sit & Go buy-in, and the total prize pool will be tripled

    TIER 3: You win 5x your Sit & Go buy-in, and the total prize pool will be multiplied by six

Still not sure what you can win? Here’s an example:

You register for a nine-handed Turbo Sit & Go with a $15 buy-in and your tournament wins the ‘Tier 3’ prize level. All players in the tournament will receive $75 each, and the Sit & Go prize pool will be boosted to six times its normal size, from $125 to $750.

Milestone Rewards

In addition to the Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 prizes, every time the total rewards reach $100K, $200K, $300K, $400K and $500K, there will also be a Milestone Reward (on top of the normal rewards), given away to the Golden Sit & Go that breaks each milestone:

    Milestone Reward: You win 10x your Sit & Go buy-in, plus a $100 fixed cash prize. In addition, they will add an amount equal to 10x the original prize pool to the now already boosted prize pool.

    Mega Milestone Reward ($500K only): You win 20x your Sit & Go buy-in, plus a $500 fixed cash prize. In addition, we will add an amount equal to 20x the original prize pool to the now already boosted prize pool.

Still not sure what you can win? Here’s an example:

The total prizes given away in all Golden Sit & Go’s are $399,854. You register for a six-handed Turbo Sit & Go with a buy-in of $30, and your tournament wins the ‘Tier 2’ prize level. All players in the tournament will receive $60 each, and the Sit & Go prize pool will be tripled from its normal size, from $167 to $501. Your Golden Sit & Go prizes have now broken the $400K milestone, so your tournament will also be awarded the Milestone prizes, which means that all the players in the tournament will get an additional $300 (10x the buy-in) plus the $100 fixed cash prize, plus $1,670 will be added to the $501 prize pool, making the total prize pool $2,171.

Please Note: If a Milestone prize reward is so big that it pushes the entire prize pool past multiple Milestones, only the first Milestone prize is paid out to that Golden Sit & Go.

How to win with Golden Sit & Go’s

Golden Sit & Go’s take place from 10:00 ET on November 17 until $500,000 has been given away, at which time the promotion ends. Only those players who register for real money Sit & Go’s will be eligible for prizes. To win, follow the steps below:

Register for any real money Sit & Go tournament under the ‘Sit & Go’ tab in the PokerStars lobby, and as soon as the Sit & Go has filled up and is seated you will know if your table has ‘struck gold’ by the table turning into a gold theme. You will also get an on-screen message to confirm which of the three prize levels you have won, and whether your tournament has hit a Milestone. Prizes will be credited to your account as soon as you have finished the tournament.

Please Note: You can win prizes in multiple Sit & Go’s in any game type and buy-in level, including heads-up, 6-max, multi-table, and hyper-turbos. Satellite and Step tournaments are not eligible for Golden Sit & Go’s. When calculating added prize pools in rebuy tournaments, only the initial entry amounts (not rebuys) will be multiplied.

The Daily Bigs are getting a big-money boost during The Billionth Tournament Carnival, with more than $2,000,000 in increased guarantees!

There are three levels of boosted guarantees to play for from November 24-30. And if that wasn’t enough, they’re also giving away over $100,000 in random added ticket prizes in the Big, Bigger and Biggest tournaments during the week, plus an extra $200,000 in added prizes in Tourney Number One Billion.

The Daily Bigs: $2,000,000 in increased guarantees:

    The Big: From Monday, November 24 to Friday, November 28, The Daily Bigs tournaments will award added prizes, and guarantees will be increased by 50%

    The Bigger: On Saturday, November 29, The Daily Bigs tournaments will be renamed ‘Bigger’ and have their guarantees doubled, plus award added prizes

The tables on which players have won a ticket prize will be announced 40 minutes after the start of the tournament, via messaging on the tournament tables, and all ticket prizes will be awarded instantly to the winning players’ accounts. The winning players will also receive an email to confirm any prize won.
