How to Play the Red Spade Open

The next Red Spade Open takes place Sunday, August 12 at 20:00 UK time (15:00 ET).

To buy-in direct or register for any of the satellites running in the days leading up to the event, open the PokerStars game software and click ‘Tourney’ & ‘Special’. You can also find satellites faster by typing the word ‘Red’ into the Tourney Filter. Red Spade Open is also the perfect tourney for playing on your mobile device. Team Pro Bounties

Team PokerStars Pro will also be taking part, and you’ll win a $100 bounty if you bust them from the tournament! Not sure who’s a Team Pro? You can identify them by the red spade that appears next to their name in the player list.

Tickets for the Starting Flights are also available from the VIP Store for 3,100 FPPs (based on your current VIP Club status). Players with SilverStar status and above can also play a 500-seat guaranteed VIP Bash satellite running the day before the Red Spade Open, with a buy-in of 500 FPPs. You can find it listed under ‘Tourney’ > ‘VIP’ > ‘SilverStar’.

    For one week only the Red Spade Open will replace the Bigger $55 tourney. This regular weekly event will return from August 19.
