I was having a game of poker on PKR and I was doing my usual - chuck the rubbish and not playing hardly any hands at all.  I loaded up LCB and unknown to me, it was my turn.....this is what happened. (My hand was folded for me)  Totally gutted.

Sometimes if the player does not like the flop or turn he will immediately fold when it is his turn. If you are first to act you can check. If everyone else checks, you get to see the next card for free. The same is true if everyone checks before it is your turn, you should also check. The free card may just make your hand.

Hi Blue,

That is absolutely awful and something that i think happens to us all at one time or another. Particularly if you are playing in a tourney for hours. I got up once while in a tourney to tinkle and get something to drink. When i returned, the hand i had showing was AA...i scrambled as fast as i could to bet the hand....but i was a second too late and the hand was folded. I was sick.

I found poker to be a very emotional game. It errupts emotions that i didn't even know i had! Mainly anger and frustration to bad beats.

Hey Lipstick,

It is terrible - and yes it can bring out bad things like anger and frustration but with me it is short lived and the return to patience and calm has to be instant or I would "tilt" and thats not good for my chip stack lol.

It is a very emotional game but my motto has to be "keep calm and carry on"!
