I signed up at bwin for the poker forum challenge a few months back. Unfortunately we didn't get any money out of that, but i have to say it was the best value promotion I've seen for a long time. Even though we didn't make any money we got close enough to smell it. After the other 4 team members were all knocked out at the half way point i knew we needed a win so i stepped up the aggression and fell just short at 4th. I can't wait for next year, and even though no one else scored a high finish i thought the rest of the team played well and just got a little unlucky.

I didn't play again for 2 months on bwin though so unfortunately there wasn't much time to collect any bonuses. It was a nice surprise though when $10 popped into my account after i thought for sure my sign up bonus must of been expired.

To the games.... First i jumped on two .25/.50 cash tables and thought i had gone to heaven, i had three monster fish on my tables who called all my raises but never re-raised. I wish i could of tagged those guys and just followed them around as the competition did improve unfortunately. But all in all the players at bwin are some of the poorest out there and it was some of the easiest money i have made at the cash tables. I did have one bad run and dropped $100 in a few hours play, then the next night made it all back. Its odd when you lose and make it all back, as it's a great feeling yet when you win and then lose it all you just feel horrible even though its the same result.

Moving on i even won the first tournament i played, which was a 55 man omaha $3 tourney. So after playing for a short period of time i was ahead around $250. But my bonus had expired and it was time to move on.

While i would normally have stayed at bwin and kept playing, i was really frustrated by the lack of waiting lists for the cash tables. So you just have to sit there watching and waiting for a spot to come up. Overall their software was decent but no where near the level of the top sites.

I haven't yet decided on which site my bonus hunting will take me to next, although i'm getting a little sick of the smaller sites who just don't have enough action and game varieties. If anyone has some suggestions, post them in the forum for me.
