Of course it is - it's poker!
Seriously, if you intend to play poker all day and you are a serial multi tabler, it can be quite difficult to fit in a decent break to stretch your legs, get a bite to eat or just generally relax for 10 minutes.
How often have you started a game, be it a tournament or a sitngo, only to realise that you need to visit the bathroom or you fancy a drink.
Rushing back and forth from the kitchen to the game whilst making a coffee can be quite a hilarious affair. You rush out and put the kettle on or the coffee machine, rush back to the game, make your move and then rush out to the kitchen again to add the sugar to your cup. You rush back to the game, it's your turn, you play the hand. Kettle has boiled or the coffee is ready to be served. You leg it out to the kitchen to pour the coffee or water into your cup. Back to the game, you play your hand and all you can think about is that nice cup of coffee going cold in the kitchen. You finish the hand and back to the kitchen to add the milk. Coffee is made. You take it back to the computer and take a sip - it's your turn again - oh no, you forgot to stir it and you can't taste the sugar. You play the hand and back to the kitchen for a spoon. If you are unable to move fast, chances are you will see you have pocket aces and just as you go to click that raise button, the hand has timed out and you are folded.
As you can see this is a lot of rushing around just to make a nice brew for yourself. What about making a sandwich? How many trips back and forth would that be? Now the telephone is ringing and you don't really want to answer it but you must. Concentration goes out the window as do your chips.
There is an answer!
Make yourself a flask of coffee, a nice pack of sandwiches, turn the ringer on the telephone off and just sit and relax and enjoy your games.
Of course, bathroom breaks are inevitable but if you time them right, you can fit them in during the tournament breaks. If you are playing more than one tournament, most sites use the synchronized breaks system so all your tournaments will pause for a 5 minute break at the same time.
Bathroom breaks are a bit more difficult with sitngos but you can always sit out for one hand if necessary.
Sounds like a wonderful poker picnic to me!
