I have to say that I can understand why a new poker player would bust into a private freeroll tournament but that does not mean that I condone it. They have no thought behind the money that is up for grabs, about who paid for that freeroll out of their own pockets or about the originating sites players. They really just don't care at all and their only interest is to win free money for themselves.
Now I know that everyone loves a freeroll - I'm the same. But I do draw the line at busting into another sites freeroll without so much as a by your leave. One post is all it takes to be a site member.
I can remember in my early online poker days where I would hunt out freerolls, find the forum that provided it and sign up to that site so that I could legitimately enter the tourney. But to have the front to not only bust into a freeroll but a restricted freeroll at that, without bothering to visit the site in question, is just down right rude.
When confronted, the gate crashers sit there in silence and will rarely answer your questions. The bold ones will tell you to F.O. or something as rude and along those lines or even have the front to ask what it has to do with you. Oh the cheek of it all. It winds me up and I know it winds up the legitimate site players too.
I applaud poker sites that make it impossible for freerollers to register.
I just hope the day will come when all sites use this method because until that day, there will always be freerollers busting into private games.
