Lock Poker players have had trouble depositing to their poker accounts. The money leaves their bank account but doesn't arrive in their poker bankroll. The total lack of communication from Lock Poker has angered players and a boycott has been called for.

Amateur Poker Association and Tour (APAT) have acquired the site Poker along with it's players. APAT will use the site for it's National Online League.

Ongame will now be offering side games on their poker sites through WMS newly acquired Jadestone.

Unpaid players of Purple Lounge Poker recently found out that they are not classed as creditors in the liquidation of the poker site. Media Corp is saying the Purple Lounge Malta company was responsible for player funds and the players are asking how can this be if the funds went through Purple Lounge UK and never left the UK.

A new software update at Party Poker will see High stakes NLHE and PLO removed from the software. The reasoning behind it was that it is in the best interests of the players and will discourage "sharks" thus enabling more recreational players bank rolls to last longer.

A new product is on the cards for TransGaming Inc. The exclusive World Poker Tour game for Smart TV is due to be released in the Autumn. The game will be available on the on-demand Smart TV gaming platform, GameTree TV.

JJ Liu and Kathy Raymond are being inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame. The ceremony will be held on 31st August at the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas.

5050Poker, the site that went bankrupt, has been delisted from the Swedish Nasdaq First North Exchange. Players from this site are listed as creditors in the liquidation of the company and whilst they may receive some of what they are owed, they are likely to only receive 15 cents in the dollar.

The 3D poker room at PKR has recently had a software update. Cocktails and drinks are now available to purchase at the table for poker points and games open in a separate window meaning that up to 9 games can be cascaded at one time. PKR are also preparing a new tool that will allow poker hands to be uploaded to youtube.
