A high rollers tournament is set to take place in Hong Kong on 31st August 2012.

The high rollers tournament is to be held at the Starworld Casino’s Poker King Club in Macau and of course, there are some very well known poker players attending such as Phill Ivey, Johnny Chan, Sam Trickett, Erik Seidel, Joe Hachem, and Tom Dwan,
The number of players has been capped at 80 however that doesn't mean that the total pot is limited to 80 x HKD$ 2 million. Players have an opportunity to rebuy once up to level 4 and can even make their rebuy prior to being seated at the table.
The prize structure has yet to be announced but it is estimated that the first prize will be around $4-$5 million.
70 players are confirmed and the opportunity to enter the tournament has been opened up to the general public with the condition that they must post their entry fee when registration begins. The tournament is said to be turbo format, which means the game will be played over one single day. Each level lasts for just 30 minutes.
