Nevada Gaming Commission is considering further regulatory requirements for final approval of internet poker licenses. South Point Poker and Monarch Casino were advised of the new requirements which centre on organisation and integrity.

NRT Technologies Corp has applied to Nevada for a license in the rush to legalize poker. NRT Technologies are a payment processing equipment manufacturer.

The PokerStars 85 billionth hand has been reached on 20th August on a 2c/5c table. The winner of the hand, som6873 , won $35.35 from the pot plus an extra $26,300 for winning the 85billionth hand. In later news, PokerStars have revealed they will be adding the "run it twice" feature. A prototype of the feature will be available for testing by players later in August.
