The Hong Kong High Rollers Tournament took place on 31st August and the buyin was HK$2million.
There were 73 players and 21 re-buys which meant the total amount of cash up for grabs was a staggering HK$182.3 million. Twelve players finished in the money and the first prize was a huge HK$50.15m which is equivalent to $6.465m.
Some famous names attended this hgh roller event like Johnny Chan, Phil Ivey, Sam Trickett, Ben Lamb, Brian Rast, Erik Seidel and John Juanda.
The winner was Stanley Choi who managed to win the tournament on the first hand after it went to heads up play with Zhu Guan Fei. Zhu Guan Fei walked away with a very cool HK$33.74m for second place which is equal to approximateiy $4.35m.
