Michael Phelps has been displaying his poker skills in Caesars Casino in Las Vegas after he won $100,000 playing Texas Hold'em.

Funtimebingo.com, Truepoker.com, Beted.com, Bookmaker.com, 2Betsdi.com, Goldenarchcasino.com, Betmaker.com, Betgrandesports.com and Betehorse.com.

The PokerStars World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP) kicked off last week and over 20,000 players entered the first two events on day 1. In later news the 2012 Pokerstars Asia Pacific Poker Tour Melbourne main event was won by British Poker player Sam Razavi. He took home a decent prize of just over $326,000.

With all the troubles with player funds at sites like Full Tilt and Purple Lounge, Nevada will require online poker operators to keep player funds segregated in a separate trust which cannot be accessed by the operator. This new requirement will stop sites helping themselves to player funds.

The iPoker Network has split into two separate tiers of poker rooms. The top tier must have a minimum of 6,000 active players and a new player increase of at least 650 per month. The second tier will include all the rest although some sites in the second tier are anxious to move into the top tier. Some of the sites that made it to the top tier include William Hill and bet365.

A row broke out over the Partouche Poker Tour and the guaranteed prize pool of €5 million which was reduced to €4.3 million. In later news, Jean-Jacques Ichai, marketing director, is said to have tendered his resignation. The group have agreed to honour the original €5 million prize pool. This will be the last poker tournament organized by the French company.

The Belgian Gaming Commission have added more online poker sites to its ever growing blacklist. Some 50 sites are now on their list and if Belgian players are found to be playing at any of these sites, large fines and criminal charges will be brought.

Conifrmation has been received that the Betclic Everest group is to move it's operation to the Playtech iPoker Network before the year is out.
