On laptop’s and PC’s all around the world millions of people hunch over monitors in the dark of night, the artificial glow of the monitor casting shadows about the room. They are focused, anxious, frustrated, and occasionally (rarely) ecstatic. Most of these poker players consider themselves amateurs, and resign themselves to playing low stakes poker, partly out of fear, but mostly because they are just having some fun. Up until today, I was one of these players.
Latest Poker Bonuses has been generous enough to sponsor me. I’ll will be starting with a $3000 bankroll, and will be playing a $50 hold ‘em tournament every day at poker stars, and up the stakes on the weekend for a $200 tournament on Sundays. I will be able to find the answer to a question that all low stakes poker players ask themselves: “Well I seem to be winning money at these low stakes, but would I be able to convert that when playing a $200 entry tournament?” I am about to find the answer.
I have played the occasional $50 tournament, and to tell the truth there didn’t seem much difference in skill. Of course there are always a few players at low levels raising and re-raising like maniacs, but in general the standard seems quite similar. I have 5 years of online tournament experience, and have a complete tournament strategy that has evolved many times, and will continue to evolve as I learn new tricks.
So wish me luck on this fun as hell endeavor, hopefully I can represent Latest Poker Bonuses well, and perhaps encourage all those amateur players to step it up and try some higher limit poker. In the meanwhile, I will be sipping some brews, crossing my fingers, and holding on for the ride.
Cheers
Robert Ginnane
PS – I will be playing at Poker Stars every day in the 70K guaranteed tournament. And I will be updating my blog every Monday. I will provide a running count of my bankroll.
