Hi y'all,

Week 2 started with much promise, with a handy cash in Monday's $50 70K garaunteed, but the rest of a week was a bust. I had some errands, and some trouble sleeping, and some sickness this week so only played the 70K 3 times, but filled the week up with a few Omaha HiLo tourneys. Here's a short summary of the week:

Monday - Slow played 88's to perfection, then had a maniac betting into me on flop of A-J-2, with AK in my hand. After a few smaller pot's I had another nice stack 11K going, usually enough to hang around til the cash.

After making the cash, with the blinds very high I picked my spots well, and had 70K at one stage. Playing very tight, the blinds began to eat away my stack with 40 left. And last to act I put my last 37K in with k7, BB with 33 called, and unfortunately I was out in 32nd. Cash - $179


Tuesday - My earliest exit yet. Low stack with 700 chips goes all in, I flat call in mid position with JJ. Someone with 4.5K re-raises over the top all-in. Using time bank I decided eventually to call, Putting the low stack on ace-rags, and the all-in person on AK or AQ. Luckily they both had AK, but unluckily they both flopped 2 pair, and I exit after only 20 hands.

Wednesday - Tuesday night I had trouble sleeping, but the sleeping pills I took made me sick, and I didn't get to sleep til 7am. I overslept and missed the $50 hold 'em, so played a later $30 Omaha HiLo tournament. This is my best game, as there is much less luck, and more variables to consider. Today I sucked though. 64th out of 124.

Thursday - Once again I got a healthy stack started, getting KK all-in against AK, then milking 5K outa a flop of A-J-2 with AA in my hand. But around 1hr in I got unstuck in this hand:

I raise in mid-position with A-10, i get 2 callers including BB who looks like he reluctantly calls. Flop is A-7-4, I raise, get one fold, but BB re-raises. I use time-bank and decide that BB either has one of 2 hands, a weak ace, or AQ-AJ. I re-raise all-in hoping that he either has ace rags, or my bet will scare of AJ-AQ into calling. BB calls and turns over A-4. This is not the worst spot to be in, I still have a 28% chance of winning or tying. But I lose, out fairly early again and A little dissapointed in my play.

Friday - Once again had trouble sleeping and missed the $50 tourney, but was still determined to play well in some other tourneys. I played a $20 Omaha Hilo, built a nice stack of 17K, then bubbled in 14th place just off the money to a mad man who thinks J963 is a good HiLo hand.

Then I played a $10 rebuy 30K garaunteed, making some huge moves with absolute air, and building a stack of 26K without getting many hands at all. Unfortunately the poker gods were not smiling on me today, on the receiving end on some yucky bad beats, thus rounding off a fully frustrating week of poker. But only down $40.
