Online poker site switches to Cake Network to retain US business

The speculation over a week back that online poker site Poker Host.com was switching from the Microgaming Poker Network to Cake Poker Network has been confirmed.

The website landing page this week announced that commencing Monday the transfer to Cake had been completed.

The announcement read: "PokerHost.com today announced the worldwide launch of their online poker room on the Cake Poker Network. Poker Host is opening its doors on the new network to all players from the United States and across the globe with over $5 million in guaranteed tournaments including a $250,000 and $100,000 every month".

Doyles Room left the Microgaming Poker Network for Cake Poker Network recently, apparently for the same reason - a desire to continue to sign up and retain US players.
