New iPhone App From Card Player

The respected Card Player magazine has launched a well thought through and effective aid for iPhone poker players...and for the moment it's available free of charge.

Users can calculate the winning odds of poker hands with the Card Player Poker Odds Calculator iPhone app, which is based on arguably the most authoritative odds calculator on the Internet, the CardPlayer.com Poker Odds Calculator. The app calculates odds for both Texas hold'em and Omaha, and works for iPhones and iPod Touch (iOS 4.0 or later).

Players interested in this new app can find it by searching for "Poker Odds" in the iTunes App Store, the magazine advises this week.

The user simply enters between two and nine sets of hands and the software does the rest, providing instant percentages on the likelihood of winning for each of the hands entered. Board cards for the flop, turn, and river can be added as well, and card-selection is easy thanks to the card-wheel provided in the app.
