Shane Warne To Launch Branded Poker Room

Cricketing legend adds another enterprise to his business portfolio

Cricketing legend Shane Warne has joined with Australian gambling mogul James Packer of Crown Casinos in an enterprise that will see the launch a Warne branded land poker card room early next year.

The poker room is just one of 16 different and wildly diverse businesses in Warne's business portfolio which range from broadcasting and music deals and hair renewal to online poker in partnership with 888.com.

Warne hinted at the new card room this week in a press interview, saying: "We've got two or three that we are looking at the moment, there's a business that I have with James Packer that we'll be launching next year. I'm not sure James would want me talking about that yet.
