Asian operator signs up to online poker network

The Cake Poker Network has added another operator to its growing roster of internet poker sites following the signing of Asian multi-channel online gambling operator SunGame and its branded site Poker King.com.

“We are very excited and proud to launch our new poker product,' said a SunGame spokesperson, who noted that the Cake Network supports Asian currencies and Asian languages.

In addition to the new poker offering SunGame offers a full range of internet gambling genres such as online live dealer, sports book, keno, slots and finance bets.

In order to build awareness around poker in South Asia, SunGame produced a film about the game - Poker King - that was released last year in Asia. The aim of the film was to introduce poker as a game of skill and to boost interest among Asian players.

Cake took the opportunity afforded by the launch to unveil its new multi-currency display feature, which allows players to view all of their account transactions including: account balance, buy in, bet amounts, and pot size in any currency. Additionally, Cake Network partners can now implement any currency they wish and use any spot rate they deem appropriate.
