Cake Poker Introduces Innovative Marketing

Gold Card exchange program Cake Poker has revealed yet another novelty in the use of their Gold Card concept, introduced at the beginning of Cake Network's operations four years ago: an exchange programme for network players. Cake Network's Gold Cards are rewards randomly granted to players who take part in money ring games. The number of cards given to a player depends on the amount of stakes, so they are awarded more often in games with higher stakes. The awarded Gold Card type is set randomly, but still, their value determines the possibility of getting each of the cards. The novelty in terms of Gold Cards, which can serve as a ticket to high-value tournaments, is that players are now enabled to sell them for cash at the Exchange. The Exchange is a place where players can sell or buy Gold Cards, some of which hold greater value than others (for example, older, rarer Cards provide better value at tournaments, and reach higher price on the Exchange). The Exchange allows all players to access Gold Cards, regardless of the purpose they intend to use them for, but it also enables players to visit and get acquainted with the whole process before they decide to engage in the Gold Cards trade. In addition to this, the players who are not interested in tournaments can still profit from the cards, by selling them for cash. The numbers already show great interest in the new concept, with over 66,000 Gold Cards sold only in the first week since the launch.
