Peter Eastgate Sells WSOP Jewelry for Charity

Peter Eastgate to donate to UNICEF The 2008 youngest winner of the WSOP Main Event Peter Eastgate (23) has decided to offer his WSOP bracelet for sale on e-Bay, in order to offer aid to children's charities via UNICEF. The Danish player's winning bracelet, whose starting bid on e-Bay is $16,000, is described in the entry as following: "The unique piece of a Corum bracelet weighs 168 [grams] and is made of 18kt White Gold paved with 291 diamonds and the face, which says “World Series of Poker 2008”, is Hand painted in silver and decorated with black and red card suits." According to Eastgate, whose WSOP 2008 winnings amounted to $9,162,416, he rarely wears jewelry, so he wanted to put his prizes to a better use rather than have them lying around gathering dust.
