Caesar's Entertainment Releases Timetable for WSOP 2011

Ultimate poker event to start on May 31 This week was enriched by an excellent announcement from Caesar's Entertainment, which will host the World Series of Poker for 2011. Namely, the timetable for this ultimate poker event is released, and it is envisaged to begin on May 31, 2011 and last for 50 days. Thousands of players, including some of the top ones, will compete for the tournament prize pool of tens of millions of dollars. The Main Event Final Table, a $10 000 buy-in event, will get its nine survivors by July 19, and then four months later, sometime in November, they will continue the competition for the excellent top prize. The tournament will be held at the Rio in Las Vegas, the same place as in the previous six years, and it will comprise of minimum 57 events, with a variety of poker genres, and events for all bankrolls. The events schedule can be expected in January 2011. What's new about the 2011 series are 'hard stop times' which serve to restrict the action to ten levels on any given day in any given event. Once ten levels are reached, the play will be halted and chips left for the next day, regardless of the number of players remaining in action.
