Amateur poker tournament subject of the partnership
A new poker tourney announcement came this week from the online gambling group Betfair which has partnered with Spanish land casino Gran Casino Costa Brava to present the APAT Southern European Amateur Poker Championship on the 15th and 16th of January.
This will be the first Catalonian live poker tournament, accepting maximum 150 players who can enter the competition against a registration fee of GBP75 or Euro equivalent.
"The casino is located in Lloret de Mar, one of the main tourist destinations in southern Europe. The venue is the first location in Catalonia with live poker 'built in'," said Casino chief exec, Gianfranco Scordato, adding that they expect a good turnout at the event.
