The Gus Hansen Scores Over $700,000 Last Weekend

Gus Hansen makes great profit

After the Department of Justice actions last Friday, Full Tilt Poker has moderated the high stakes on the company's website during the weekend, but the one who made a record profit regardless of the situation is Gus “The Great Dane” Hansen.

Hansen made over $700 000 in profit after some 5 000 hands taking on top players like Patrik Antonius, NoPasaran and Gavin Cochrane on the 6-max $300/$600 virtual tables. He earned the most from Antonius ($329 000), and Harrington25 ($169 000).

Other winner this weekend were Sauce123 on $246 000, NoPasaran ($240 000), and Mr Boogerz whose score was just over $200 000. But in general, the action was quite quiet with an absence of big name players.
