Significant sales predicted
With all the fuss about the Cereus Network in light of the Black Friday, many lay-offs, and financial difficulties, there's now a reminder of the famous cheating scandal that involved its members, Absolute Poker and UltimateBet – a book to be authored by Haley Hintze, a well-known journalist who has spent quite some time investigating into the issue.
The book will reportedly be published by Dimat Enterprises Inc., and a release date is set for Fall this year. It has been revealed that Hintze already has piles of documents including e-mails, taped conversations, and whistleblower interviews, containing insider information and alleged cover-ups involving the companies.
The announcement states: "This story will show the corrupt, shady dealings of two major online poker rooms – which later joined as one -- and how they did everything they could to prevent the true stories of the cheating from reaching the poker-playing public."
Similarly, Hintze wrote on her blog this week: "I'd like to thank Matthew [Hilger of Dimat Enterprises] for offering me the opportunity to craft a single, comprehensive tale of the UltimateBet and Absolute Poker scandals, even as events connected to these continue to surprise us nearly every day."
