All four Day 1 flights completed With the end of the last Day 1 flight in the World Series of Poker main event, the prize pool numbers came in along with the total number of entrants, which proved to be a bit below last year's results. Namely, it has been specified that the final table prize list will be the following: 1st . . . $8,711,956 2nd . . . $5,430,928 3rd . . . $4,019,635 4th . . . $3,011,661 5th . . . $2,268,909 6th . . . $1,720,396 7th . . . $1,313,851 8th . . . $1,009,910 9th . . . $782,115 These massive prizes come thanks to the big number of entrants - 6,865 players (6.2 percent fewer than last year), who generated a $64.5 million total prize pool. As for Day1d, it saw some 65 percent of players make it to Day 2. According to preliminary numbers, Mory Little was the chip leader on 179,450, which makes the top chip counts on each of the four Day 1 flights the following: Day 1a Fred Berger of Las Vegas - 209,000 Day 1b Ben Lamb from Tulsa, Oklahoma - 188,925 Day 1c Kevin Song of Diamond Bar, California - 163,325 Day 1d Mory Little from Charlotte, North Carolina - 179,450 In terms of the star turnout on Day 1d, it was as good as expected, so spotted taking their seats were Tom Dwan, Phil Laak, Antonio Esfandiari, John Juanda, Huck Seed and Vanessa Rousso, "American Pie" actress and poker player Shannon Elizabeth, as well as rapper Nelly. Some of the notable names that didn't keep their seats to Day 2 included Dwan, Prahlad Friedman, Steve Zolotow, James Mackey, John Juanda, Frank Kassela, Tom Marchese, Melanie Weisner, Bertrand Grospellier, Jennifer Tilly, Ivan Demidov, Alexander Kravcheko, Owais Ahmed, Antonio Esfandiari, David Williams, and Nelly, along with 2010 final tablers Jason Senti and John Dolan. July 11 will see 2,031 survivors of Day 1a and Day 1c combining to form the first flight of Day 2, whereas those remaining from Days 1b and 1d will gather together for Day 2b.
