Ben Lamb in a good run
Day 2b of the World Series of Poker main event finished late on July 12 after 10 levels were completed. At that stage, Ben Lamb once again proved his quality and took the chip lead on 551,600, and along with Kevin Saul on 542,200, Ryan D'Angelo (462,300) Narendra Banwari, Nicolas Fierro, Martin Torheim, internet high stakes ace Patrik Antonius, Josh Gibson, Josh Weizeo and Ryan Rinker, he leads the pack of around 1,080 players that survived the day.
With both flights of Day 2 finished, around 2,000 remaining players will have a day off before joining together for Day 3 of the event, which will begin on July 14.
Some of the big names that survived Day 2b include Amit Makhija, Jeffrey Lisandro, Lyle Berman, Ryan D'Angelo, Patrik Antonius, celebrity player and Simpson's creator Sam Simon, Tony Hachem, Jeff Madsen, Victor Ramdin, Dan Kelly, Justin Bonomo, November Niners Joseph Cheong and John Racener, Erick Lindgren.
