Aug 09, 2011
The main event took place in Estonia for PokerStars' European Poker Tour Tallin. It took a gruelling five days of relentless players before a winner was declared over the weekend. With a field of 282 contenders, the stakes were high at Euro 4,250 entry fee. Ronny Kaiser made it to the final table as chip leader, ending in a heads up battle against his opponent Grzegorz Cichocki, beating him for the first place title. Kaiser is the first Swiss player to win the EPT title taking home Euro 275,000. He told reporters "It's very nice to win. I've been the chip leader for three days, but I've got deep before and always finished 20th. This time I thought, 'I should win this.'"
