Update: A Break for WSOP Main Event Survivors

Day 3 begins on July 14 July 13 was a day off for 1,864 World Series of Poker main event players who will return on July 14 for the third day of the competition. Some of the famous and big names among the survivors include Jason Alexander ( 349th position with 167,000 in chips) and Brad Garrett (46,000), then seven former main event champions; Tom McEvoy (1983), Joe Cada (2009), Phil Hellmuth (1989), Berry Johnston (1986), Huck Seed (1996), Carlos Mortensen (2001) and Robert Varkony (2002), but also four previous WSOP Players of the Year - Daniel Negreanu (2004), Allen Cunningham (2005), Erick Lindgren (2008) and Jeffrey Lisandro (2009). Whoever wins this main event will boost their bankroll by $8.71 million. At the moment, the chip lead is in the hands of Ben Lamb from Tulsa, Oklahoma, who has already won some 1.3 million in this year's WSOP events.
