Update: WSOP Main Event Final Table Reached

2011 WSOP Nine known After the last 22 survivors of the 2011 World Series of Poker main event returned to the tables on July 19, a lot of exciting action could be seen, resulting in the final table when John Hewitt was busted out in the tenth spot by Eoghan O'Dea. This year's nine survivors include: Martin Staszko (chip leader on 40,175,000) Eoghan O'Dea (33,925,000) Matt Giannetti (24,750,000) Phil Collins (23,875,000) Ben Lamb (20,875,000) Badih Bounahra (19,700,000) Pius Heinz (16,425,000) Anton Makievskyi (13,825,000) Samuel Holden (12,375,000) They all come from all around the world - Ireland, England, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Germany, Belize and the United States, proving that the competition is a real international one. Probably the best performance of the day was that of Irishman Eoghan O'Dea (26) from Dublin, who held the chip lead for much of the game, until he was overshadowed by Czech player Martin Staszko. Notable eliminations during the day include a young Russian Aleksandr Mozhnyakov, and his nemesis Sam Barnhart, as well as Bryan Devonshire and Khoa Nguyen. The nine finalists will now go to a four-month break to reunite in November. When play resumes there will be 34 minutes and 57 seconds left in Level 36.
