Hellmuth and Grospellier lead US and Europe teams Another clash between the European and US forces' skillful poker players will mark the next month's World Series of Poker Europe, sponsored by Caesars Entertainment. The two teams will be led by big time poker players - Phil Hellmuth for the United States and Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier for the European block. Each team will have five players, who will face off in a no-limit hold'em tournament, in both partner and heads-up formats. They will earn points for different elements in their play. Last time, it was the European team led by Scandinavian poker player Annette Obrestad that took the honors, so the tournament director Ty Stewart opined: “Team Americas has a score to settle after what most considered a colossal upset in London. You see a real rivalry developing as European players continue to win more tournaments around the world.”
