5050 Pokers NASDAQ Listing Application Accepted

Trading begins on Sept. 14 After claiming exclusivity in the Montenegrin online gaming market through a co-operation with Montestars Poker and land-based Casino Avala, Swedish poker firm 5050 Poker Holding AB shared news that its application for listing on NASDAQ OMX First North has been accepted, and that trading in the Consumer Discretionary Sector commenced on Sept. 14. The European-facing company is known for its poker offering, but it recently expressed plans to expand its offering to include casino, betting and entertainment gaming. According to Jenny Rosberg, Vice President NASDAQ OMX Nordic, “It is rewarding to see an oversubscribed IPO in times of economic turmoil, which is proof that the market has confidence in 5050 Poker's business model and growth potential.” On the other side, Patrick Sjögren, CEO, 5050 Poker Holding AB commented: “We are very pleased with the strong interest in our listing, and now we look forward to benefiting from the investor reach and brand awareness that comes with being a listed company. “We have shown significant growth in the last year and will leverage our listing at First North to continue to build an international and profitable gaming company.”
