Update: Ifrah Reports French Investor's Interest in FTP

Negotiations are ongoing, claims the FTP attorney After the whole confusion regarding the amended civil complaint against Full Tilt Poker and its heads, a FTP lawyer, Jeff Ifrah, issued a statement claiming that the company is pursuing negotiations on its acquisition with a French investor. According to him, the negotiations have been going on for weeks, “a letter of intent has been executed, due diligence has been done on the investor's funds,” and an agreement would enable the payout of outstanding balances to Full Tilt players. Also, if the negotiations turn out to be successful, the investor plans to cover the settlement of pending Justice Department fines, and satisfy the civil complaint. At the same time, Ifrah says, both the investor and FTP are dedicated to the case of FTP's license suspension by the Alderney Gaming Control Commission.
